Continuing Wheel/Independent Study - Adult

This class is for people that have taken multiple beginner classes and are comfortable centering and throwing basic forms on the pottery wheel. Students at this level will continue to work on previous skills. 

The instructor may choose to demonstrate a skill or challenge. Students can decide whether they would like to participate or work on an individual project with help from the instructor. Challenges may include teapots, covered jars, juicers, quick skill building tasks, etc.

Students typically complete around 3-5 pieces to fire and glaze.

Class fee includes 1, 12 lb bag of clay, glaze, tools, all firings, and 2 open studio passes. 

Open studio passes must be used within 2 weeks following the last class date.  All pieces must be picked up within 2 months after last class date.

Spring I: Registration will open February 20th

Continuing Wheel Monday PM:  March 9th, 16th, 23rd, April 6th, 13th, 20th 6:30-8:30pm

Continuing Wheel Tuesday AM: March 10th, 17th, 24th, April 7th, 14th, 21st 9:30-11:30am

Continuing Wheel Tuesday PM: March 10th, 17th, 24th, April 7th, 14th, 21st 6:30-8:30pm

Winter: 

Continuing Wheel Monday PM: January 5th- February 16th, no class January 19th, 6:30-8:30pm

Continuing Wheel Tuesday AM: January 6th- February10th, 9:30-11:30am

Continuing Wheel Tuesday PM: January 6th- February 10th, 6:30-8:30pm
