Continuing Wheel/Independent Study - Adult

This class is for people that have taken multiple beginner classes and are comfortable centering and throwing basic forms on the pottery wheel. Students at this level will continue to work on previous skills. 

The instructor may choose to demonstrate a skill or challenge. Students can decide whether they would like to participate or work on an individual project with help from the instructor. Challenges may include teapots, covered jars, juicers, quick skill building tasks, etc.

Students typically complete around 3-5 pieces to fire and glaze.

Class fee includes 1, 12 lb bag of clay, glaze, tools, all firings, and 2 open studio passes.

    Fall II: 

    • Tuesday 6:30-8:30pm  November 7th- December 12th(Julie) 
    • Friday 9:30-11:30am November 3rd- December 15th, no class Nov 24th(Julie)
    • Saturday 10am-12pm November 4th- December 16th, no class Nov 25th *please note this session is 5 weeks long (Taryn)

    Winter: 

    • Tuesday 6:30-8:30pm  Jan 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th, Feb 6th, 13th(Julie) 
    • Friday 9:30-11:30am Jan 5th, 12th, 19th, Feb 2nd, 16th, 23rd(Julie)
