SHIPPING
In-stock items ship within 3 business days from purchase. Shipping costs are based on weight, distance, and handling.
For made-to-order pieces please allow 4 - 8 weeks for your item to ship. The pottery creation process has many steps and takes time for the piece to be made, dry, be bisque fired, glazed, and fired again before being carefully packaged for shipping.
You will receive an email notification with a tracking number when your order ships.
Please contact us if your purchase is time-sensitive! We will do our best to accommodate and will try to make it happen!
CANCELLATIONS / RETURNS OF MADE-TO-ORDER ITEMS
Applicable to any made-to-order piece - We begin work to create your items shortly after your order is placed. As a result, once an order is placed and items go into production, any modification or cancellation of the order may result in no or only a partial refund of amounts already paid at Julie Berkowitz Ceramics sole discretion.
RETURNS
All of our pottery is handmade with love in NC and we want you to love your new pottery too!
You may return any standard in-stock item for a full refund, minus shipping charges, if it is not what you wanted, within 7 days of receipt. When returning any item please use the same packing materials, so that the piece is received back in good condition.
We accept returns for refund or store credit within 14 days of receipt. Please note, shipping charges are non-refundable. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the original packaging and in the same condition that you received it.

Julie Berkowitz Ceramics is not responsible for any damage or loss that occurs when return shipping, so we strongly encourage you to pack the items well and ship via a trusted carrier.
DAMAGED ITEMS
We do our best to pack each item purchased with care. In the rare event you receive an item broken or otherwise damaged in shipment, please contact us via email within five days of receipt with a digital photo of the packaging and broken item. We will handle the claim with the shipping carrier and arrange sending a replacement out to you at no additional cost as soon as possible.
