The bluebird is an ancient symbol representing happiness. Each bluebird has made a long journey though the ceramic process. Starting as a ball of clay, transformed by my hands, altered by the kilns heat, and then emerging shiny with glaze. I have found the ceramic process to be similar to life with all the ups and downs, looking for those bits of happiness along the way. While walking through NC Botanical Gardens, I invite you to Find Your Happiness. Reflect on moments, memories, and individuals that bring you happiness while you are navigating your way through the process of life.
