Continuing Wheel/Independent Study - Adult

This class is for people that have taken multiple beginner classes and are comfortable centering and throwing basic forms on the pottery wheel. Students at this level will continue to work on previous skills. 

The instructor may choose to demonstrate a skill or challenge. Students can decide whether they would like to participate or work on an individual project with help from the instructor. Challenges may include teapots, covered jars, juicers, quick skill building tasks, etc.

Students typically complete around 3-5 pieces to fire and glaze.

Class fee includes 1, 12 lb bag of clay, glaze, tools, all firings, and 2 open studio passes. 

Session Dates:

Fall I Session: Registration will open mid-August. Please sign up for the studio newsletter to be notified first:)

  • Tuesday 6:30-8:30pm September 13th- October 18th 
  • Friday 9-11am September 16th- October 21st
