Continuing Wheel/Independent Study - Adult

This class is for people that have taken multiple beginner classes and are comfortable centering and throwing basic forms on the pottery wheel. Students at this level will continue to work on previous skills. 

The instructor may choose to demonstrate a skill or challenge. Students can decide whether they would like to participate or work on an individual project with help from the instructor. Challenges may include teapots, covered jars, juicers, quick skill building tasks, etc.

Students typically complete around 3-5 pieces to fire and glaze.

Class fee includes 1, 12 lb bag of clay, glaze, tools, all firings, and 2 open studio passes. 

Open studio passes must be used within 2 weeks following the last class date.  All pieces must be picked up within 2 months after last class date.

Fall II:

  • Monday 6:30-8:30pm November 4th- December 16th, no class Nov. 25th (Julie)
  • Tuesday 6:30-8:30pm November 5th- December 17th, no class Nov. 26th  (Julie)
  • Saturday 11am-1pm November 2nd- December 21st, no class Nov. 30th  (Taryn)
