Continuing Wheel/Independent Study - Adult

This class is for people that have taken multiple beginner classes and are comfortable centering and throwing basic forms on the pottery wheel. Students at this level will continue to work on previous skills. 

The instructor may choose to demonstrate a skill or challenge. Students can decide whether they would like to participate or work on an individual project with help from the instructor. Challenges may include teapots, covered jars, juicers, quick skill building tasks, etc.

Students typically complete around 3-5 pieces to fire and glaze.

Class fee includes 1, 12 lb bag of clay, glaze, tools, all firings, and 2 open studio passes. 

Open studio passes must be used within 2 weeks following the last class date.  All pieces must be picked up within 2 months after last class date.

Registration will open October 14th at 9am

Fall II:

Continuing Wheel Monday PM: November 10th, 17th, December 1st, 8th, 15th 6:30-8:30pm

Continuing Wheel Tuesday AM: November 11th, 18th, December 2nd, 9th, 16th 9:30-11:30am

Continuing Wheel Tuesday PM: November 11th, 18th, December 2nd, 9th, 16th 6:30-8:30pm

*Note- Fall II is a 5-week session

Continuing Wheel Monday PM: September 8th-October 13th 6:30-8:30pm

Continuing Wheel Tuesday AM: September 9th- October 14th 9:30-11:30am
