Join local encaustic artist Ana Carolina for an immersive introduction to the luminous art of encaustic painting. In this hands-on class, you’ll explore this ancient technique that combines melted beeswax, pure pigments, and damar resin to create richly layered, light-filled works of art.
You’ll learn the fundamentals of safely melting and mixing wax, building translucent layers, and fusing each application to achieve depth, texture, and dimension.
