Students will start to experience the feel of the wheel. Centering the clay and small cylindrical shapes will be the focus, aside from just becoming familiar with clay and studio procedures. Students will also work on beginning handbuilding projects. Students who have experience will work with the instructor to come up with an appropriate lesson to improve their skills.
Students will choose their favorite 3-5 pieces to fire and glaze.
Class fee includes 1, 12 lb bag of clay, glaze, tools, and all firings.

Spring II: Wednesday afternoon 5-6:15pm May 3rd- June 14th, no class May 31st
Summer: Wednesday afternoon 5-6:15pm June 21st, 28th, July 12th, 19th, 26th, August 2nd
Fall I: Wednesday afternoon 5-6:15pm September 20th- October 25th
**Ages 13-17 unless you have previous experience, are over 10 years old, and have studio approval
