This class is only open to students that have taken the Introduction to wheel class and want to continue to build their skills. Students will continue to work on the fundamentals that were introduced in the Introduction to Throwing on the Wheel session.
We will add throwing plates, candle holders, and altering cylinders to the skills learned during this session.
Students will have the option to try slip trailing and another decorating technique, instructor's choice.
Glazing will be covered in more detail with more advanced options made available for use.
Class syllabus is subject to change depending on students' goals.
Students typically complete approximately 5 pieces to fire and glaze.
Class fee includes 1, 12 lb bag of clay, glaze, studio tools, all firings, and 2 open studio passes.
