Mini Workshops

At the studio, we have designed a few workshops for pottery students looking to expand their skills.  Each workshop will focus on a skill during two 3 hour classes, and students will be able to use an independent open studio session to glaze their pieces after the workshop, or create pieces for the Surfaces Revealed workshop.

Students enrolling must feel comfortable centering and pulling a cylinder on the pottery wheel.  Some workshops will require pieces to be at a certain phase in the process.  You can register for as many workshops as you would like to try.

Workshops may not include hands-on glazing of student pieces, but a glazing demo will be shown, so students can finish pieces in an open studio session independently.

If you need clay to create pieces for the workshop it will be available after registration at the studio. Workshop fee includes clay, materials for techniques, glazes, and all firings. Participants should have prior wheel experience.

*The studio will be open for workshop participants to work independently on pieces from the workshop on the following dates tbd (Limited to 5 students in the studio at a time.)
