Handbuilding has taught me patience and that clay can't be rushed. Clay can be formed and stretched if handled with care and given the time to dry evenly. In this session we will use different handbuilding methods to create sculptural and functional pieces. Pinching, slab, and coiling will be techniques in our toolbox, along with our hands:) Glazing and some decorating at the greenware phase will also be covered during the session.
Class is limited to 4 participant. 2 open studio times are included to work on in class projects. Clay, glazes, and firing fees are also included.
